Meet Nicole ~
Hi!
So happy you are here! My name is Nicole and I started photography and I am located in Springfield, Virginia. I serve clients in Northern Virginia, Maryland and the Washington DC area. I started photography over 15 year ago. I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Health Education and wasn't able to use it much due to the area we lived in at the time. After having my oldest daughter, I started to dip into photography and found that I had a love for it. My entire upbringing had a heavy photography influence, as my dad was a professional photographer and photojournalist for the Deseret News in Salt Lake City, Ut. I remember spending countless hours as a kid with my dad in our basement dark room helping him process and dry photos (before the digital times!). In Middle and High School, my friends and I would take pictures with disposable cameras and run to our dark room to tear them apart and process our own photos. I guess you can say that photography runs in the family, as my older sister is also a professional photographer in California and we have similar specialties.
Fast forward to now, I am married to a very supportive husband, have 4 beautiful children and am deep into my photography business. I have come to cherish photography even more now, as I feel like the moments and memories with my own kids and family are fleeting. It’s fun sharing images with family and friends via social media, but I realize the importance of having beautiful heirloom albums to keepsake your images and also printing those images to showcase them in your home. I specialize in capturing the beauty of every stage of life, from maternity and newborn portraits to baby, family, and senior pictures, creating timeless memories that last a lifetime
